Booking & payment
By completing a payment for a Dear Girls Club event, you are confirming your place and agreeing to these terms. Bookings are confirmed at the point of payment. You will receive a confirmation email shortly after booking.
Tickets & transfers
Tickets are personal to the individual who booked and are non-transferable. We are not able to transfer your ticket to a different event or date. Please make sure you are able to attend before booking.
Refund policy
All ticket sales are final. We do not offer refunds as standard. Dear Girls Club is a non-profit community, and many of our events have very limited places. When a spot is booked, it is taken off the website entirely, which makes it difficult for us to recover costs if someone cannot attend.
We understand that life happens. In genuinely exceptional circumstances, refund requests may be considered at our discretion. If you find yourself in this situation, please reach out to us at hey@deargirls.co.uk and we will always do our best to be understanding.
Event changes & cancellations by us
In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or significantly change an event, we will contact you as soon as possible using the details provided at booking. In this case, a full refund or alternative will be offered.
We reserve the right to make minor changes to event details (such as the host, activity, or timings) where necessary. We will always keep you informed of any changes.
Photography & media
Photos and videos may be taken at our events for use on the Dear Girls Club website and social media. By attending, you acknowledge that you may appear in content shared online.
If you would prefer not to be photographed, simply let us or your event host know before or at the start of the event and we will make sure to keep you out of the shots. Your comfort always comes first.
Age requirement
Dear Girls Club events are open to women aged 18 and over. We reserve the right to ask for proof of age if required.
Code of conduct
Dear Girls Club is a safe space for all women. We ask that everyone treats fellow attendees, hosts, and venue staff with kindness and respect. Any behaviour deemed disrespectful, or disruptive will not be tolerated.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove from an event, any individual whose behaviour does not align with our community values. No refund will be issued in this instance.
Materials & supplies
Where events include materials, supplies, food, or drink, we do our best to ensure everything is as described. In the rare case that something runs out or needs to be substituted, we will handle this on a case-by-case basis and reimburse where appropriate.
Personal belongings
Attendees are responsible for their own personal belongings at all times. Dear Girls Club and its hosts cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property during events.
Liability
Dear Girls Club takes reasonable care to ensure events are safe and well-organised. However, we cannot accept liability for personal injury that results from an attendee's own actions. Attendees participate in all activities at their own risk.
